Max Nelson

Max Nelson was a B.S. candidate in Industrial Engineering at Northwestern University, concentrating in Machine Learning and Data Science. Drawing on his experience as a cancer survivor, Max is driven to develop computational tools that enhance clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes in oncology. His primary research interest is in pediatric cancers and the development of imaging-based response metrics to more precisely assess treatment efficacy. Currently he is a master of science student at Columbia University.
